The correct ultrasound diagnosis not only requires complete dedication and determination, it also needs thorough knowledge of the concern issue. For example, it is not sufficient to diagnose a prenatal structural defect but it also needs knowledge about further management of the pregnancy as all structural defects are not lethal. On the other hand some of the defects are lethal and need termination of pregnancy but before that may need certain investigations such as karyotyping. Therefore, precise decision making is essential while counseling the patient.
